Breakfast was good. Large selection. Quiet and cozy atmosphere. Very friendly service.
Good restaurant. The price was high, but there was enough table space, and the atmosphere and hospitality were good.
The food was excellent
When we came, our table was not yet free. We should just wait for that. Only there is no bar, but you stand between the lifts of the hotel as ordered and not picked up. Then the receptionist pointed to a table that just had to be set. Two minutes later, she put someone else there. When we had a table after 15 minutes, the menu in no way corresponded to that on the Internet. there were three main courses and three starters. And a fillet for 75 euros. Absolutely outrageous! We then left the shop. Never again.
Clear imbalance in the price / performance ratio We were there (12/2019) with a group of nine for dinner. The ambience is classy and dignified, but the service and the quality of the food couldn't keep up here. The first wine we had chosen was no longer there. Only one bottle of the second choice, the same for the third. Only the fourth wine was apparently available in sufficient quantities. There was no longer any of the starters on offer. On a Saturday evening before Christmas in downtown Frankfurt, however, I expect that the four starters can also be ordered. My main course was perch with risotto and spinach leaves. The fish was fine, risotto and spinach were brutally boiled down, I was surprised that they had not evaporated. Three of our acquaintances had the grilled chicken skewer that was so dry that it took tons of water to wash it down. However, there were always - up to 20 minutes (!) Long - periods during which the service was simply not visible. To put two bottles of water on a table with nine people is not very far-sighted anyway, but it is always bad service to forget us. The refilling of the wine was also very sporadic, we would easily have drunk twice as much water and wine if someone had looked after us. My wife and I reserved the choice of the dessert only after the main course. Unfortunately, however, we were not asked about it anymore, it was just a coffee. The service was friendly, but completely inadequate. And with a total price of approx. € 90 per person, the requested price does not match the offered service at all and certainly not the quality of the food. A bitter disappointment!

More appearance than his. As with the other reviewers we also got to know the rather bad service. At first we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman, we were recommended an aperitif and wine accompaniment for the 4 course menu, but we did not see him afterwards. Instead, two ladies took on ours. When we inquired at the second course for the recommended wine accompaniment, we were told only the open wines down. The maximum information was white or red was there. Due to rather long waiting times, we then at least managed to get the 3rd gear with a wine accompaniment chosen by us ... Slowly and untrained. The food was unfortunately only ok. Significant condensation on the plate with the pulled beef, which had apparently been in the fridge for a while. Then the exceptionally delicious pumpkin soup was poured. Then looked very unappetizing, as the condensation then floated over the soup. The plates were just lukewarm, so the food was very cold. Everywhere still had to be seasoned, the cook seems to be on love move. The added bread was really delicious. Small round individual breads cut in 4ths, which could then be crushed only with a lot of power ... Maybe it was therefore 4tel and no slices, because even the chef does not succeed? The water prices go beyond any scale. 12.50 € for a bottle of Pellegrino is just outrageous. Even in star halls such prices are not called. 110 € p.P. for 4 courses and with a lot of waiting at least 3 drinks are neither the food nor the service adequate.

Due to open architecture, clubbeats rang from the bar to the restaurant on Saturday night. The atmosphere was therefore not solid (which would have fit better with the decor) and the audience sympathetic rather than yuppies to call. Whether swanky watches and a clearly visible car key of the fat cart "smart casual" is? :) Judging by the price, the quality of the cuisine was unfortunately only moderate (sometimes even definitely salted). Too bad. The service was nice and the wine was delicious. The dessert and breakfast the next morning as well.

3 courses became a 4-course menu: An upscale kitchen was promised to us - what awaited us was anything but good! It all started with the greeting from the kitchen and the first glass of wine, when we wanted to serve the second course. On request, where the first gear would be, it was a bit hectic. After about 10 minutes we were told that this was unfortunately lost! Good, can happen. As an excuse, we were then asked for an intervening and filled our half full wine glasses again generously. But since we had a Chardonnay in the glass, but a Pinot Gris was filled up on it, got the ridiculous answer that we would have a typical Cuvee now !!!! 1st gear followed: Optically nice to look at, taste a disaster. Components of the Polish Borsch soup were changed. The beet smoked and overcooked, the crayfish swallows totally saline, the drop of sour cream to neutralize - but we still had the bread! It was followed by the next wine and the intermediate passage. We were promised a beef foam soup. We got specially prepared for us by the chef, a Moroccan lentil soup. Except for the lentils, the soup tasted like nothing - we were thankful that they brought us another serving of the bread with butter! This was followed by the main course, served again with another wine. Poached salmon - unfortunately this was cooked to death. Meanwhile, we could only laugh, because even the highly praised service was a disaster. Waiter with such expired heels that already the nails and the plastic were visible and whose shoes clacked with every step on the floor. Waiters who ate over the table the water in our glasses while we ate, that we had to head back each time to avoid getting acquainted with their elbows. Silverware was put on with white gloves, but unfortunately on the wrong side ...... Yes, well-trained service staff can not be found on every corner! At the dessert then the Christmas potpourri was processed. I will save further details. Our conclusion to this location: Anything but recommended! Price-performance ratio completely exaggerated, but probably the Frankfurt location. There is a beautiful saying in Hesse, which is unfortunately once again preserved: "Want to pee with the big dogs, but can not lift the leg" It's a pity, but since even the chef did not want to talk to us, you would probably have known what was served! The hotel makes a very good impression. We were politely received and you can only wish the operators, that this restaurant does not get a false reputation!

The atmosphere is cool, the tables are so close together that there is no privacy. The service pretends to be solid, but it is not: champagne glass is filled on the left side of the guest and remains there ?, wine is refilled in a filled glass ?, clearly visible cork in the wine glass ?. The food is okay, nothing more. It doesn't help if fillet is served from the "black feather chicken". A stick of bitter asparagus. Overall ambitious, but the bottom line is not worth it.
